Advantech eSOS- An Emergency Secondary OS for System Recovery
This is a small embedded OS called eSOS stored inside the BIOS. In case of a main OS crash, the device will boot to this OS. eSOS will run pre-defined utilities and email the diagnostic results to the administrator.
